I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?

I cought this one first, then poogie did. I had to call the paramedics for her. This is one bad bug.

Maybe her nickname should have been pukie instead?

We're getting over the worst of this thing here.  We're in something of a self-imposed quarantine, in hopes that we will not infect anyone else.  It is the worst stomach flu I have seen in my life, just because it hits you so many ways and so severely.

It's like dysentery, mixed with a hangover, mixed with getting beat up by Mike Tyson.

We called ourselves a lot of things that week, Mr. & Mrs. Pukie would be one of the mildest.

We're all on a strict BRAT diet here right now, except Jenna who appears to be completely over it.  I thought I was over it Friday, ate normal, and paid the price.

Darksider's "how do you like such and such food" threads are killing me.  I was going to make a big breakfast for everyone , with omelettes, sausage, toast, and pancakes.  No, I got to have plain rice cereal with a little applesauce.  I guess I could still have the toast...the plain toast.  No butter.  No pumpkin butter.  Just toast.

YUM.

Know whats funny, after a stomach illness (I used to get them from drinking more than anything) the first thing I usually crave after the puking storm is Burger King cheeseburgers.  I'm not sure what it is about them but they usually get my stomach back in working order again.

I seem like clockwork to get hit by a nasty stomach bug/flu around the middle or end of March every year.

Last year's was particularly bad. I literally had to lay down. If I tried to sit up or stand up, I got so dizzy and nauseous that I would almost fall over.  I'm really hoping that this year I get spared and don't have to go through that again.

Oh yeah, and happy 2009 everybody!

I just had some friends over, we fixed some mudslides and margaritas, a friend of mine got a screener copy of the new Mickey Rourke movie The Wrestler which we watched (amazing movie BTW) and then we watched Megaforce!
