An American Gladiator plays the lead in a barbarian movie.

Guess I don't have to say more than that other this is part of Andrew's most excellent Time Warp roundtable featuring movies that are trying to get back in time.

Great review. I've never seen this flick, but after reading your review I'm definitely interested in doing so. This looks right up my alley.

The review caused the same sort of response for me. I'd seen the DVD before, I remember the cover art, but I hadn't been interested then.

It sounds like a new version of "Beastmaster 2: Through the Portal of Time" - and surely any version of that film has to be better than the original.
