In an attempt to keep the food theme going, what do you like on your pizza? I eat LOTS of pizza, pizza bagels, French Bread pizza, English Muffin pizza, pizza rolls, pizza hot-pockets, pretty much every kind of pizza-related dish you can name.

My perfect pizza consists of:

Black olives
Lots of cheese
Various dead animals

That's it.

1. Meat.

2. Anchovies, if you can talk your fellow pizza-orderers into it.

3. As many veggies as people want to throw on it. I like stuff on my pizza. Lots of stuff.

4. Never pineapple. Never. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!

There was a Chinese place in DC in the 80s that used to do Chinese food on a pizza crust. That was surprisingly good. It's sad they didn't last.

What about crust? Do people like thick or thin crusts? I've got to go with thin. The purpose of crust is to hold the stuff long enough to get it into your mouth. It isn't a food in and of itself.

Here in Philly there's a thing called a "tomato pie". Crust and tomato sauce. No cheese. Very popular for some reason.

Thick crust, double cheese, sausage pepperoni and mushrooms.  Mushrooms are kind of optional.  Tomato sauce, of course.  Sometimes I like a cheese pizza with green olives, then put some sour cream on top of it.

The funny thing is, the idea for pineapple on pizza was to augment the addition of shrimp. If you've ever gotten that nautious feeling after eating shrimp, know that pineapple is supposed to cure it. BUT now I see pineapple on pizza with no shrimp. I'm not much of a fan of it, although pineapple is good for shish-kabob (Another thread maybe?)

I disagree with you there. I always eat the crust, ecpecially the bread-flour kind. When I was in the Army living in the barracks, I never let anyone have a second piece of MY pizza if they didn't eat the crust (We called it 'pizza bones', or at leat those that didn't want to eat it did).

We could also get into a whole white pizza vs. red thing.

Mostly when I eat pizza it's your basic red pizza, with I guess mozzarella as the main cheese. But sometimes I enjoy a good white pizza with a few different cheeses and not a whole lot of stuff (usually spinach or broccoli).

Generally I like Pepperoni pizza, as well as supreme pizza - the way Pizza Hut makes supreme pizza.  I'm not a fan of Hawaiian pizza, nor sauerkraut pizza.  I'm not all that fond of chicken pizza either, while I like chicken it just doesn't seem right on a pizza.

My favourite pizza is spinach and ricotta with loads of tomato. I like to eat alot of sea food, so sea food pizza's too. Most people I know can't stand sea food and don't know how I can eat it all on a pizza.  Smile

ham and pineapple is my favorite, though I'm more than happy to have a plain old ordinary cheese and pepperoni or cheese and canadian bacon.

I used to like peperoni, sausage and hamburger.  However, and I blame my wife for this because she always suggested pizza when we went out to eat, I have eaten way too much pizza in the past 10 years that I simply don't like it anymore.   Bluesad

Hamburger, mushrooms, EXTRA cheese, and light on the sauce. On  a thin crust.

(While in Japan, I got to try cuttlefish pizza.  Surprisingly good.)

You know, speaking of crusts, there's this local pizza joint in town you can get their "thick" crust pizza, and I mean that sucker is THICK.  It's almost like eating one of those big pretzels found at the mall.

As for the subject at hand, I'm a picky eater, I don't care for olives, mushrooms, onions etc.  I just like cheese, pepperoni and bacon on my pizza.  If it has sausage, I'll eat it, but it's not my fav.

DAMMIT, you guys are making me hungry!  Enough with the damn food threads, I'm trying to lose weight here...

1. "Everything" on it, meaning pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, black and green olives.

2. Greasy New York style pepperoni.

3.  The Thai chicken pizza from California Pizza Kitchen.  (Also, the garlic chicken pizza with bordelaise sauce!).

As for crust, medium thickness.  Not as paper thin as some New York style pizzas, but not as thick as Chicago style (where the taste of the bread can overwhelm the toppings).

Pineapple should never be on pizza.

I'm not a big fan of pizza in general, but I do like Pepperoni, and the meat lovers pizza.  That had pepperoni, ham, sausage, chicken.

Down the Jersey Shore, during my vacation, they had the following:
Peanut Butter and Jelly pizza,
Oreo Pizza (Pizza, with the cheese, sauce, etc.  Had oreos, whole oreos, on top.)
French Fry pizza (Pizza, etc, except, instead of oreos as a topping, there were fries.)

Are these found anywhere else?
