I'm reminded about the SAW seies...ugh! Also I don't care for the ELM STREET series beyond the first, that goes for the HALLOWEEN films (except number 3,which most seem to hate), FRIDAY the 13th sucked after 1 and 2...though I enjoyed JASON GOES to HELL-even though it was a rip off of the HIDDEN. The SCREAM series and I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER series,HOSTEL series,...in fact most of the newer 'Real World' hip kids vs. sadistic killers/monsters/ghosts films.

Some Like it Hot (1959)

Supposed to be a classic comedy. I just don't find it all that funny. And I can't figure out what the big deal with Marilyn Monroe was supposed to be anyway.

That surprises me alot. To be honest I felt the same until I watched it with a girlfriend, then was in total awe of the woman.

It's a great film though, even if it's not a total barrel of laughs.  Smile

Takes a deep breath...

I'm not a fan of the brat pack movies of the 80s.  Aka Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink, Say Anything...etc.  I quite dislike most of them...sorry 80s fans...

If you were any other man WE'd kill you where you stand.

However, as you're Darksider...it's not too bad.

I'd stay out of Circus' way for a while.

LOL. I certainly seem to have struck a nerve with this one. Isn't that what this thread is all about, admitting to hating movies even though your admission will make you an outcast in human society? Did I complain when somebody dissed A Fish Called Wanda, one of the funniest movies of all time?

About Marilyn though -- I really don't get it. I've seen her in a couple of things, and I don't get the whole mystique, why she wasn't just one more blonde starlet. With a particularly annoying breathy way of talking. The Misfits (1961) was another one where I would rather have seen just about anyone else in that role. Of the Monroe films I've seen, probably the only one I liked her in was as the scheming starlet in All About Eve (1950). You can probably diagnose something or other about me from that.

For my money there were plenty of more interesting and more attractive actresses in the 1950s.

Oh boy... I think I might get shot at for what I'm about to say.  I don't like...

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (The original and the remakes, especially the 70s one)

Any of the Back To the Future Movies

Any of the Dead Alive films

The Blob remake

And to the B-movie fans...

I don't like The Giant Claw.
