Famous actor Jame Whitmore has passed away yesturday due to lung cancer at the age of 87.  You may remember him from his performance as Harry Truman in the movie Give 'em Hell, Harry! for which he nominated for Best Actor.  To us B movie fans, we remember him as Sgt. Ben Peterson from Them!, the killer ant movie we love.  His last actor role was as a lawyer in the episode Ending Happy from CSI.  Lets all take a moment to remember this great man.

I've looked up his imdb page.  What a career.  The man could even bring some class to a movie like The Relic.
