Okay.

I remember this scene from a film that was on TV many years ago and have been wondering what movie it was...

The scene plays out where some old scientist looking guy in a lab coat is writing a bunch of gibberish on a chalkboard while a female lab assistant is trying to talk to him.
She gets fed up as he seems to not be listening and grabs his shoulder to turn around and upon doing so, suddenly the guy starts to transform into some kind of monster complete with convultions and cracks, oozing, and twitches in a very violent manner while the lab girl screams in horror.

That's all I remember, but that scene has been burnt into my head for what seems like ages. At first I thought maybe it was the 80s Breeders movie due to a similar scene with a guy turning violently into the alien in that, but I didn't see the scene I described in it.

Anyone have any ideas?

Wow.

You're right. I found the scene on YouTube even. Looks a lot different from how I recalled it in my mind. Way more hokey then my mind recalls with the transformation bit especially. Course when I saw it, I was still a kid, so back then everything seems different. (Like watching 80s cartoons again after not seeing them in ages)

Guess this would be considered case solved then.
