Well, kinda ***SPOILER***

Okay, so the first time David transforms into a werewolf we know he left the apartment. How did he get out?  You'd think being a werewolf that he'd smash the door down or go out through the window.  However, later on the in the film when he gets back to Alex's flat, the door is still in tact.  She also doesn't mention any smashed windows, and you'd think that'd be one of the first things she say to him or that she would have brought it up later on.

So, did David just politely open the door and lock up when he left?  Do werewolves usually display proper door closing etiquette?

I guess if Larry Talbot always managed to change into his standard 'wolf man uniform' no matter where he was or what he was wearing when he transformed I supposed David could open a door and leave politely.

In the original WEREWOLF OF LONDON the werewolf dons a sporty cap and wraps a nice warm scarf around his neck before starting out on his bloody reign of terror!  Smile

What are you afraid of? It's only rock n' roll.

if you notice when he goes outside, he comes back into the apartment but never closes the door. it seems far fetched and i don't agree with it as far as trying to get me to believe that no one entered or left the building leaving the door wide open and that a 500 pound quadruped werewolf decided to stroll out of these open doors leaving no physical evidence of its presence. it is true as far as the film goes though, take another look, the scene is there.

Sort of like the HULK always ending up wearing a pair of purple pants in all those old Marvel comics . . .

Youre thinking to much about it. You should have noticed Rik Mayall (from the YOung Ones and Bottom) in the pub at the very beggining.

That is not the most logical film I've ever seen, so don't look for it to be logical, just enjoy it.

Some of the illogical moments I've found in the film.

Knowing what is out there, why force the two strangers out of the pub, knowing they might be attacked? Then to compound the illogic, why try to save them, knowing what is out there?

How can, even in the fog, two men wander off a paved road, into the moor, when the composition underfoot of the road and the moor is so different? Now there may be reason for this, which never made the final film. The reason being, and this is what I heard,  is that the two men went off the road and into the moors to engage in a little nookie nookie with each other.

Why drag the survivor of the attack all the way to a hospital in London, when there are hospitals just as good as those in London, much nearer to the place of attack?

Not knowing what they were facing in the porno palace, why didn't the police shut down the street--both ways--in front of the building?

As I said, don't look for logic in the film, just enjoy it.

I wonder could he have really opened the door? Do werewolves have thumbs?...if not, that might be difficult....

If they can drive, they can open a door.

As Xena Warrior Princess said back in the '90's on The Simpsons regarding things that appear to make no sense or be mistakes in filming, "Yeah, when you see things like that, um, a wizard did it..."  BounceGiggle
