What do you guys have on your walls?  I know for most of you married guys, the wife probably does most of the decorating and you're regulated to a single room to decorate how you want (if that) but for the rest, I'm curious what type of stuff you've got up there.

To be honest, most of MY walls are pretty bare.  You see, I don't have a printer, so I can't print out and hang up cool pictures I find online, and I don't often have extra cash to get posters or any decorations.  I do have a few things though, I have some frames with photos of relatives hanging up here and there.  Got my diploma from college (for the all good it's been doing me in my current job hunts), a calender and a Chuck Norris Fact List poster I bought several months back at Wal-Mart.

That's about it really... would like to put up more stuff just to brighten the place up a bit, but like I said, money's tight, and stuff I can find at thrift shops and whatnot isn't really my taste (don't really care for putting up pictures of landscapes, flowers, eagles, or what have you.)

Would like to put up more pictures though.  I've gotten several photos printed out at Wal-Mart of my nieces and nephews and whatnot, but frames are a bit expensive as well.  I did buy a few of the cheap kind at first, but I realize WHY they were so cheap when one fell off the fall and broke in such a way that I couldn't put the pictures back in.

So, that's my (scant) decorations.  How about you guys?

Actually,my wall art is pretty conservative...I have two oil paintings done by Tara Sue....one is of the parting of the red sea and another of coal miners. She was a dam good oil painter. I have an old print (1950's?) of a monkey wearing a Shriners fez smoking a corn cobb pipe, sitting in a chair watching an old tv with monkey chorus girls on the tv screen...his dog is holding his leash in his mouth begging to go for a walk. It's signed'Lawson Wood'. A small round painting of a bird...pretty old. An antique childrens chalkboard. A picture of my sons Jed and Eddie. A wood letter holder with a small bronze eagle on it. A nother small wooden letter holder with a silver cross on it. A wood plaque with a bottle opener on it and a drawing of a booze bottle and an inscription-"I've drunk to your health in taverns,I've drunk to your health in my home,I've drunk to your health so many dam times,I've almost ruined my own! I''s says below that in small letters Civil War Wax Muesuem,Gettysburg,PA. It looks kinda old.
That's it. Oh...except for the Alfred E. Nueman for President poster on the bathroom door.  Smile

I only have one room, but I do have it...er...somewhat decorated.

Aside from the ugliest damn wallpaper, I mostly have art prints that I got pretty cheap. Most of what I got was 90% off.

Most of my prints are of European scenes or Cafes.

Those are thumbnails; click on them for larger versions.

Yes, that corner shelf does have some throwbacks to the 1970s with the CB jargon glass, stripper glasses, and the diecast muscle cars.

I'm married but I do have some say what's on the walls in my home. Along with the usual fare of family pics and such, I got swords on displays hanging up.

The wife has my house plastered with pictures of my our family which I'm ok with on concept.  However its on complete overkill.  Everywhere you look...THERE WE ARE! Go around a corner and THERE WE ARE!  Its starting to give me paranoia quite frankly...all those eyes watching me.... Buggedout

Shes also into cross stitch so theres a few of them (mostly beach scenes) in the house too.

My son's room has a bunch of his little craft projects he does at the library after story time.  He's so proud of himself which is cute.

Back home, my "room" was plastered with action figures and posters of chicks/movies.  I had a nice one of Jenny McCarthy amongst a few others on my ceiling.

I have two pictures I won at a carnival of Homer Simpson and Spongebob.  I have a King Kong, the Video Game Poster and one of Lost Planet.  I also have a crucifix above my headest on the wall.   Otherwise, that's pretty much it.

I have a large mural of a dragon holding a sceptre and orb on one wall of our den, it was painted by our daughter. The rest of the house is pretty normal, pictures, paintings etc.

Let's see - here above my PC upstairs I have my Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Calendar, and three maps - one of Vardenfell, one of Cyrodiil, and one of the Shivering Isles (Elder Scrolls fans will know what I am talking about).  Downstairs in my hobby room - wall to wall arrowheads!!  Over 100 frames mounted on my wall!  Plus a big cypress clock with artifacts glued to it.

Mostly bare except for an acrylic painting that looks like a gothic romance cover, an oil painting of a paddle boat done my my mom, and cool postcards of fairies. Sadly, my walls are practically impervious to thumbtacks, so I don't see them getting much more decorated.

We don't have anything on our walls. In every room, most wall space is taken up with floor to ceiling bookcases. The only place we have something adorning the wall is above the bed, where we have a huge tiger rug hanging (yes, the rug is on the wall and not the floor).

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

I live in a suite on campus with a couple other guys...my side of my room within the suite is bare, because tape doesn't stick to these walls.  The rooms are supposed to have little strips of cork-board running up near the ceiling, but on my side of the room that cork-board has been broken off... Bluesad

So most of our decor is in the common area of our suite:

The movie posters and Creature from the Black Lagoon pic are mine, the rest belong to my friend Dennis.  I think we're the only people on campus with a real periodic table of elements, as opposed to the tacky "periodic table of mixed drinks" or "periodic table of sexual positions" ones.
