With a fickle mind we kick the nickle beer
Steady as a goat, we're flying over trout.
Ghetto down the highway at the speed of light;
All I want to feel now is the wind in my eyes.
Sack of monkeys in my pocket
My sister's ready to go.

Hear the engine roar now
Idiot control now
Hideous control now
Ninny on the road now.
Minnie in control, wheel's on fire, burning rubber tires.

Leer at jelly rolls now
Hiddy let's it go now
Ninny inches po down
Pityin' a po' boy
Hear the engines roar, bees on pie, burning rubber tires.

Well, I strolled through the woods one day with my baby
While the sun ate through the leaves.
As I lay down beside her, her eyes opened wider
When I found her, it seems.
And she said

Spray it on,
Spray it on,
Spray it on.
She said, spray it on.

Afterwards I saw her and she was farther
Then I had ever been.
She came right up beside me and whispered right inside of me
"Hey baby, I think you should---
Come clean."

Spray it on (x4).

Well, I strolled through the woods one day for my baby
Who didn't seem to be just what she seemed.
As she rose up inside me my eyes opened blindly
And she said I would have to
Come clean.

Spray it on (x4).

Little boy you're going to Hell
You said naughty words & threw rocks at the birds,
Now this is your hotel!
You ain't going back, this ain't Disneyland,
It's Hell!

Little boy it's time for you to pay
For hurting those birds & not going to church
And staring at boobs every day!
Thought you were in bed, instead,
You're in Hell!

Hell isn't good
Hell isn't good
Hell!

Hell isn't good
Hell isn't good
Hell!

Our world's about to break
Tormented and attacked
Lost from when we wake
With no way to turn back
I'm out here on my own
But now I'm not alone-

AVENGERS, ASSEMBLE!

Small | Large

Always we will fight as one
Until the battle's won
With evil on the run
We never come undone
Assembled, we are strong
Forever fight as one
Assembled, we are strong
Forever fight as one....!

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

Well the next time you go to the circus
Where the Walendas walk on the wire
Here's a tale for you to remember
When the white horses leap rings of fire.

It was a cold night in Oklahoma
And the show was about to begin
And the animals, they were all restless
And the star horse, she breaks from the pen.

Now she was a mare of high spirits
Like a hooker on a Saturday night;
She went kicking and bucking past the men who were brushing
The elephants down for the night.

Now next to the tent sits a lantern
Dangerously close to the hay
And that mare headed straight for that lantern
That some fool had left there by mistake.

Well up jumps this Indian cowboy
And his lasso, it whirls through the air
And in the full dead middle of danger
He roped that runaway mare.

Well the elephants raised up their trumpets
And two of them broke from their chains
They stampeded that Indian cowboy
Who had saved the big top from flames.

So if you ever go out to the circus
Where the Walendas walk on the wire
Remember that Indian cowboy
When the white horses leap rings of fire.

-Not sure who wrote it, maybe Guy Clark

I know you have a heavy heart
I can feel it when we kiss.
So many men stronger than me
Have thrown their backs out trying to lift it.
But me, I'm not a gamble,
You can count on me to split...

Lapsistain rakkain tää näyttämö on
Mis kuutamo kujillaan kulkee
Taipunut havu, kesä hoivassa sen
Valkomeren niin aavan
Joka aavekuun siivin
Saapuu mut kotiin noutamaan

Päällä talvisen maan hetki kuin ikuisuus
Mi pienen kissan jaloin luokseni hiipii
Tääl tarinain lähteellä asua saan mis
Viulu valtavan kaihon
Ikisäveltään maalaa
Laulullaan herättää maan

I hope I cut myself shaving tomorrow.
I hope it bleeds all day long.
Our friends say it's darkest before the sun rises,
We're pretty sure they're all wrong.
I hope it stays dark forever,
I hope the worst isn't over.
And I hope you blink before I do.
I hope I never get sober.
And I hope when you think of me years down the line
You can't find one good thing to say,
And I hope that if I found the strength to walk out
You'd stay the hell out of my way.
I am drowning.
There is no sign of land.
You are coming down with me
Hand in unlovable hand.
And I hope you die
I hope we both die...

Please listen
There's something I want to say
To you.
Fancy Blue, Fancy Blue.

Half-eaten sandwiches
Things taste bad
To you.
So brave you're smiling, Fancy Blue.

I tried to be there for you.
Who am I fooling?
I'm such a fool,
Such a fool, such a fool, such a fool.

War, war, war, war, war, war, war...
On a silent shore
I spoke to God
The sun is down
Assemble the great pandemonium
War

One more down by the brook of Babylon
One more down in accordance with my fate
One long drift across the lake of Avalon
One more trip that I must create

And my eyes sweep a shore
that was always there
A blood red line
Through the sonisphere
I can't resolve where it's coming from
I sense it's the great pandemonium

One more, Just one more
Just one, Just one more day
One more day by the pits of hell
Just one more when even yesterday was too late
One more thought that I had to sell
One last trick that you can't debate

War

On a silent shore
I confronted fear
I spoke to God
But he wasn't there
The sun is down
And the war begun
Assemble the great pandemonium

[Growls:]
Break down
Got to break down
Break down

And my eyes sweep a shore
That was always there
A blood red line
Through the sonisphere
I can't resolve where it's coming from
I sense it's the great pandemonium

On a silent shore
I confronted fear
I spoke to God
But he wasn't there
The sun is down
And the war begun
Assemble the great pandemonium

Just one, just one, just one more day
Just one, just one, just one more day
Just one, just one more
War

Long as I remember the rain been comin' down
Clouds of mystery pourin' confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages tryin' to find the sun.
And I wonder still I wonder who'll stop the rain.

I went down Virginia seekin' shelter from the storm
Caught up in the fable I watched the tower grow
Five year plans and new deals wrapped in golden chains.
And I wonder still I wonder who'll stop the rain.

Heard the singers playin', how we cheered for more.
The crowd had rushed together tryin' to keep warm.
Still the rain kept pourin', fallin' on my ears
And I wonder, still I wonder who'll stop the rain.

"Never go astray and stay a nice loving son..." Chicory Tip: Son Of My Father.

A song I listen to at least twice daily as it helps me accept the changes in Mom's life and the changes in our relationship. If I truly am the son of my father, I will man up and accept this situation.

"There were six men in Birmingham, in Guilford there's four
They were picked up and tortured and framed by the law;
And the filth get promotion, but they're still doing time
For being Irish in the wrong place and at the wrong time.
In Ireland they'll put you away in the Maze,
In England they'll keep you for seven long days.
God help you if ever you're caught on these shores
And the coppers need someone, and they walk through that door."

When I was young I was so full of fear
I hid behind anger, held back the tears
It was me against the world, I was sure that I'd win
But the world fought back, punished me for my sins
I felt so alone, so insecure,
I blamed you instead and made sure I was heard
And they tried to warn me of my evil ways
But I couldn't hear what they had to say
