This question is sort of weak because all I have to go on is a vhs cover I saw in the 80's
but basically its about a bunch of vines that are gowing out of control and killing people
somewhere. From the picture it seemed like it was inside of a jail. If anyone can tell me
any movies about killer vines I'd appreaciate it

Maybe "Seeds of Evil/ the Gardener"? No, jail, but there are vines. They're coming out of a person, though...

I second "The Crawlers" (a.k.a. Contamination Point 7), but be forewarned, it is f*cking atrocious and is definitely one of the worst films I have ever endured.  Hatred

I saw the cover for contamination point 7, doesnt seem like what I remember. The vhs cover I remember
had like vines taking over a prison either on earth or in space. Does this ring a bell to anyone?
