On the Tromeo and Juliet DVD, the Lloyd intro is all wobbley when there's movement on the screen. The same thing happens in the battle scenes on my Forest Gump DVD and it happens on Cronos. Does anyone else have this problem on some of their DVDs ?
As soon as there is movement then the picture gets all these annoying lines  Bluesad

Yes, it's definitely the disc that is at fault, not the equipment.
It's really annoying.

Sounds like interlacing errors.  Have you tried multiple TV sets, or playing the DVDs on a computer?

Does it look something like that?

Yeah, kinda.
Just add more horizontal lines.

Kind of sounds like it could be "combing" to me (the picture that Jim posted).  It happens when stuff isn't properly transferred from PAL to NTSC and vice-versa.  I suppose it could be a hardware problem but it might just be the DVD production.
