It's a simple question, have you ever been scared while reading a comic or manga?  They aren't like a movie that is in motion and could shock you by quick surprises happening on the screen.  However, there are some comics/mangas that can litterally scare you just by the images on the page or at least send chills up your spine.  So, have you been scared when reading one?

I've been scared a couple of times by When They Cry.  It's a manga from Japan that is based off a video game series in which you are this character that is living in this village called Hinamizawa.  As you live there, you make a couple of friends and things seem normal, but underneath everything, there is something sinister going on.  The town has a terrible secret and your friends have a couple of their own.  What you have to do is figure out what is going on and try not to die while doing so.  The comic follows a similiar way, but it is a bit different than most I have ever seen.  The story is constantly changing.  After every 2 or 4 volumes, the story changes a bit and you get a whole new story with the same characters and same setting, while still keeping the horror.  This way, everything stays new and scary.  Only 2 volumes are out in America, but they are freaky!  I never been freaked out like this before.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

When I was a lad, there was a Tales From The Crypt, this guy has something to do with earthworms in a nefarious way.  At the end, he died, and a giant earthworm came out of his mouth.  Creeped me the heck out!
