Alright folks. The woman who 'hit' that other woman was fined 150,000; was ordered 150 hour community service, and was ordered 2 month anger management. That is bs. The man who wanted her arrested was the mayor she was chewing out and the faker was a supporter of the mayor. Clearly this is a corrupt system going on here.
It was actually a $1500 fine, but yeah, it's still ridiculous. It's a reminder of how ludicrously broad the lowest level of "assault" can be, where tapping somebody with a finger can lead to fines and potential jail time. Personally, I think in order to get a true assault charge there should have to be an intent to actually do significant bodily harm.
Not sure if this has been posted here before... I can't remember. But it bares repeating.
