Umm...I may be missing a joke here: but isn't Disney's animated version from 1967?  Korda's 1942 film starring Sabu was live-action - no talking, singing vultures.

Yes, DISNEY's is from 1967... and I suppose they were spoofing the BEATLES... I confused the two movies.   Smile Drink
