I decided to do something special for the month April!  All April long I'm going to do movie reviews on video game movies.  It'll be tough, but I'll survive!  I know this is still March 31st, but since this is still kind of the first week of April in a sense, I'm starting it off with the first review!

The first movie to look at is DOA: Dead or Alive.  No one really talks about this movie much so this one was an obvious one to review and examine.  What does this movie hold?  It has girls, martix like fightings, many subplots, a strange pair of sunglasses, and girls.  I know I mention girls twice, but they are kind of the highlight of the film.  Also, interesting to note, Gametrailers, named this film the 10th Worst Video Game Movie Ever.  With that said, enjoy!  The review will be edited as the days go on.

P.S.

The review can also be found in the Submited Review Section.  Also, next review is on Resident Evil: The CGI Film.

DOA was hands down one of the worst examples of film-making I have ever had to endure. And Ive seen Death Tunnel.

I dont agree with the last part of your review though, as I am something of a fan of the Mortal Kombat films. The first is one of my favourite films, while the second was below average, but at least it had Jax, Cyrax and Sektor in it!

I don't really "get" films like this, it's banking on the sexiness of the films stars, and yet the film is PG-13 so we KNOW we're not gonna see any boobies, so what's the point?

Same prob I had trying to understand the marketing appeal of Coyote Ugly.

I agree, what's the point?  We have many close calls with the opening scenes with Christine were it almost seems like if we pause at the right moment, we might get something that could've been nice in a movie that was that bad.
