70's iconic porn star and Ivory Snow girl Marilyn Chambers has died at the age of 56.

Members of this forum might also remember her as the freakish vampire-like lead in David Cronenberg's RABID (1977).

She was working on something called Porndogs: The Adventures of Sadie when she died. No idea what it was, but Ron Jeremy, Dustin Diamond and Heidi Fleiss were also in the cast!

It's disquieting to have someone I lusted after as a young man turn up dead.  Especially if it turns out she died of an age-related condition.

I still remember back in "82" 0r "83" I standing in front of my parents big screen zoom vision Zenith Tv trying not to let my mom see me watching Angel Of H.E.A.T. on The Movie Channel on their cable box while she was on the phone. I recall seeing ANGEL of H.E.A.T. on one of them big heavy movie disc thingies they rented out in the early '80's! I also seen the classic BEHIND THE GREEN DOOR. She was one of the first 'cross-over' porn actresses...way before Ginger Lynn or Traci Lords.
