I am a giantic fan of The Drifting Classroom manga and I consider it the all time best horror comic ever made.  Ground breaking for its time and horrific situations for the main characters to face, like a flood, giant monsters, the black plague, and so forth.  It's like Lord of the Flies on steriods and mixed with Battle Royale.  It is awesome and all won an award back in the 1974.  However, the live acted movie that came out in Japan does not even live up to the greatness of the manga.  It is so unbelievebly cheesy and is insult to a fan such as myself.  To understand this, check out this review and try downloading a couple chapters of the manga online and you'll see what I mean.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Earth is visited by a GIANT ANTIMATTER SPACE BUZZARD! Gawk at the amazingly bad bird puppet, or chuckle over the silly dialog. This is one of the greatest b-movies ever made.
