ive been looking for the title for these 2 movies for quite some time but cant find it anywhere....i dont remember much because i believe i was around 5 or 6 years old (im 20 now)  when i saw these movies on the "movie channel (channel 53 on cable TongueOut )"

the first one was a vampire movie, where this guy in his teens i believe killed a female vampire in her house but not before being bitten, after he killed her he kept seeing her name everywhere. i remember he ordered some kind of meat and asked what "kind of meat is this" and the answer was her name (which i dont remember)....and as it turned out, later in the movie she wasnt actually dead...so now the guy has to try and kill her again...i also remember he was with a girl he had a crush on, im not too sure if she was a vampire or not....thats all i remember im sorry i cant give more details on this one i was 5 lol

the other one was actually a very disturbing movie (at least for a 5 year old lol). its about this family who moves into a new house/mansion?...and theres some a really really pale man/creature locked in the basement...i remember in the beginning of the movie he grabs a cat that wonders too close to his cell and just rips open with its teeth and starts eating it...later on he breaks free of his cell and starts chasing the family....i remember the last scene its raining outside and the father is fighting the man/creature on the roof top (the man/creature is completely nude if that helps)

i know the details are horrible but its all i can remember, and for some reason i never forgot those 2 movies...maybe if anyone has an idea of what movies they are but dont know the name of them you can add more scenes to the description TeddyR

Most likely Stuart Gordon's Castle Freak.

This is a loose match, but check out "My Best Friend is a Vampire" (1988).  It's a little like your description, and old memories like this can be a bit skewed.

I agree with Andrew, the first does sound alot like my "Best Friend Is a Vampire," but I remember the details a little differently. Robert Sean Leonard being the teen bitten by the vampire (Cecilia Peck), but it is not he who kills her, but vampire hunter (David Warner), who then seeks to kill the teen. The teen being helped by Rene Auberjonois on how to use his new vampiric powers, before he is killed by the vampire hunter.
