I AM THE BAD PHOTOSHOP EFFECT!

« on: May 06, 2009, 09:29:26 PM »

Judging from some posts on this board, I notice there are some comic book fans on this site.  I'm wondering if anyone else has been picking up any of Bluewater comics.  They have a line based on b-movies.  The have a whole section called Harryhausen Presents featuring sequals/spin-offs of some of his movies.

http://www.bluewaterprod.com/

Here's my thoughts on some
20 Million More Miles to Earth: A sequal to 20 Million miles to Earth (but you probably figured that out) The artwork is good, but the story could have been better.  It basically re-writes everything we thought we knew of the Ymir.  Not for the better.

Wrath of the Titans  Perceus has to get his son back. Good art and fun story.  Best of all it features the cyclops from the Sinbad movies.  Making this an un-offical crossover
Jason and the Argonaughts  Didn't care for this one.  The art is more appropriate for a saturday anime based off of a card game.  The designs didn't really say Harryhasuen.

There are others based offf of Earth vs the Flying Saucers, It came from Beneath the Sea and Sinbad.    Plus non-Harryhasuen works like Leprechaun, and Plan 9 from Outer Space.  E

Anyone else picking these up at their LCS?
