"Cujo, where are ya boy?"

The film I am referring to was supposedly shot somewhere in the Arizona desert. It stars Barrymore as a teenage girl with looks to die for (literally). Her father also lives with her in a small trailer park. I remember that some of the inhabitants of the trailer park were being killed (one woman was electrocuted in the bath tub). The film was unique and had some amazing shots for a slasher flick.
I am dying to know the name but cannot for the life of me recall it. If you can think of the name, I would appreciate it greatly. Also, I was wondering where this movie was filmed exactly. If you know this bit of information, please share it.

I think it could be FAR FROM HOME, shot in Gerlach, NV.

The Rev is right it is Far From Home.  I remember it well. Susan Tyrell was the woman that got electrocuted in the bathtub.

Gerlach, NV...where is this located exactly besides in Nevada. I got that part. Oh and yes this is one of my fave too. Can anyone here remember the actor who portrayed the killer in the movie. I remember he had the red hair and was kinda nerdy...like me!

Well, it's north of Pyramid Lake... west of Winnemuca... if that helps.  Pretty much on the middle of nothing in the high Mojave desert.  Reno would be the nearest "big" city.
