Where have I been? Nowhere. Why was I gone? I've been depressed. Really depressed. Depressed to the point that I've had no interest in social interactions of any kind and little-to-no interest in movies or movie related activities. Sorry folks, nothing personal, but the only thing that hasn't depressed me in recent months has been losing myself in video games... as Ash will attest to, since he sent me the message asking me to stop by and say hi through XBox Live. So, to anyone who liked the board better without my unique mental musk wafting through the air, you have el gato to blame. Wink

Thanks to Trevor for the Jannie Totsiens DVD (plan on watching and reviewing it soon), sorry to AllHallows that his copy of Not of This Earth never showed up (another copy going out tomorrow sir!), and if I missed anything of great importance, please feel free to link me to the related forum postings cuz I'm too lazy to pour through the pages and pages of unread posts since the last time I was here... which I think was in March... My congrats to anyone that had something good happen to/for them, my condolences to anyone struck by tragedy of any kind, and if anybody's been claiming that I owe them back child support, you ain't seeing dime one till I see some DNA tests and court papers.  Cheers

I'm glad yer back in circulation. I know such depression. I've been so depressed at time, commiting hari-kari seemed like an option at times. I actually stuck a 12 gauge shotgun in my mouth and pulled the trigger with my big toe in 1994...but the dam gun jumped-and put a hole in the roof of my apartment.I swear this is true. But life goes on...and it will get better.  Keep yer chin up....think of life as a bad movie...it may suck...but,dammit...see it through to the end!!!!  FIGHT!!!!  hot

Welcome back!  Sorry to hear about the depression.  I know it, too.  See a doctor if you haven't already.  Antidepressants can work wonders.

Allhallowsday has gone missing too... Scott dropped in briefly to say he's converted to Catholicism.  Doggett has developed a thing for Elvira. That's about it as far as news.

Thanks gents. What I'm going through now isn't half as bad as what I went through in high school (something my young cousin won't ever be able to attest to now since she took her own life two weeks ago) and I made it through that with little more than a few chapters for my eventual autobiography, so my life's not at risk. Appreciate the concern though. The only suicide I've been committing is socially, but given that my hermitage may be over, I think I might be around the bend and on my way back to normalcy.

And holy cat juggling Moses RC, if that's not a sign from the cosmic consciousness that your brains aren't meant to decorate a ceiling, I don't know what is sir!  Buggedout

I thought so  too about two seconds after the fact.As soon as I did it...I took the gun and stashed it under my bath tub(one of those old'claw" tubs) and someone busted into my joint and stole it. Did me a favor,I reckon. Keep yer chin up! What don't kill you makes you stronger!!!!  Thumbup

Great to see you back, Anubis and I'm glad to hear you received the DVD ~ the SA Postal Service is not reliable at all. Please let me know if if you got the translated script I sent ~ if not, I'll send it to you again. Smile

Much more seriously, all strength to you and good wishes as you combat depression: you have all my sympathies as I know what it is like as I have been there and back many times. Keep well and a karma for you, sir.  Smile

Good to see you back Anubis.  I'll second what Rev. Powell said about getting some medical help.  I've got an anxiety disorder and basically wasted about 9 years of my life before I got on some medication.  There's a lot of good stuff out there these days, fix you right up with no side effects.

Take care  TeddyR

Howdy Anubis!  Smile

Glad to hear from you, it's been a while. To tell the truth, I've been pretty damn low lately. Hope things are getting better for you and you feel like socialising alot more soon.  Wink

Welcome back, and it is good to see you.  Hope that you are feeling better now.  Depression is an evil thing, but always keep plugging at it.  Tomorrow's another day, just like Annie said.

I'd type more, but Garrett is right here in my lap.  He's giving me a little too much help.  It's about time for him to go to bed.
