I had the privilege of seeing SCANNERS at the drive in, on a screen about fifty feet high!

Was it during the film's original release? Sadly, I've never seen the whole of Scanners, just that completely epic head explosion. It must have been quite a sight seeing that on a huge screen.

I have seen a couple of other Cronenberg works like Videodrome and The Fly though.
