I'm tired of these muthaf**kin' sharks eatin' this muthaf**kin' plane!

Wow, man, you are back like vertebrae, are you?

Where you been hiding?

And to chime in on this movie, where did you confirm Jake Gyllenhaal had anything to do with this?  imdb.com got nothing on it, and they be conspiracy freaks.

I actually was kidding about Gyllenhaal. That actor who spots the plane-eating shark just bears a striking resemblance to him, I thought.  TeddyR

Okay.  You had me frightened there for a while.  Figured I'd have to track you down and trap you into watching "Donnie Darko" five times in a row.

I just put this on my netflix queue, according to them there will be a very long wait, must mean that Indiana watched the only copy in the world, so we must all wait our turn to enjoy or inflict this cinematic gem on ourselves.

If your queue is as long as mine, You'll forget you added it before it shows up.  I can't imagine this being THAT popular. Maybe somewhere in trailer park, a group of drunk rednecks are playing "Kick The DVD The Farthest".

I moved this to the top of my queue on Monday and it showed up on Thursday, this is, at least to me a very funny movie, mainly because most of the exterior scenes were shot at the Belmont Shores section of Long Beach. The film is just awful, but looking for places I recognize and have actually been to made the watching fun. I have to say that while the movie itself is painfully stupid, I enjoyed viewing it.

I loved this movie.  Twirling   My daughter and I could not stop laughing.  Everything about it is so bad. I dont think I have ever seen two people with less chemistry than Gibson and Chao. The scenes of them flirting and then kissing were almost to much.

I actually registered for this forum *just* to look for topics about this movie and try to get Andrew interested in it.  This is easily the best worst movie made after 2000 that I have ever seen.  My husband and I strongly suspected it of being a Sci-Fi Original in disguise.  It is well worth any amount of wait anyone has left, and it is going to be my Father's Day gift to my dad (and myself as I am going to watch him watch it).

Especially of note are the worst montages in the universe (they come off as real time) and numerous really hard jabs at military competence in general--these poor guys just tend to crash, lose control, go nuts or otherwise screw up at every turn (they are probably demoralized by Lorenzo's extremely non-regulation ponytail).

I will probably buy this to watch it over and over.  It's worst than Santa Claus Conquers The Martians, which was my previous favorite awful film.

Well, this movie is on my list of DVDs to purchase so that I can write a review.  It's currently at the normal inflated price that these films are at when first available, but after a few months they drop to about $10.

Man, think of all the ramen noodles you can buy with $10 bucks. I think you should consider that before purchasing.  I'm sure there will be less intestinal discomfort with the ramen noodles.

If there is any justice in the universe, there will be a sequel to this film. If fact, I see a trilogy!

That's the only part of the movie worth watching.  It's not very enjoyable.  The shark and the octopus are barely even in the movie.
