thanks guys so so far I have...

Volcano
Them!
Earthquake
Night of the Comet

Was there a sequel to Cannibal Women from the Avacado Jungle of Death set in LA? I am trying to draw a link between writers in LA hating the city and expressing themselves in their medium. The more outrageous the destruction of the City the better. Looking for examples in 30, 40 and 50's films too before technology bloomed.

.the INDESTRUCTIBLE MAN (1956) Lon Chaney Jr. as a...well...indestructible man running rampant in L.A.
.the SLIME PEOPLE-Monsters from underground invade LA.

Remember the end of Jurrassic Park: The Lost World when the T-Rex escapes into the city?
Didn't that happen in L.A.?
