Those of you who have been here long enough may remember the post I made back in 2003 when my only younger brother was killed in a motorcycle accident.
Read it
HERE.
My brother's name was
Cory Chapman. (Check out his memorial Myspace page here:

Anyway, a man died the other night in a motorcycle accident here in my town.
Apparently, he was riding his motorcycle on the wrong side of a two-way interstate and crashed headfirst into an oncoming car.
The victim's name was Todd Weaver.
The driver of the oncoming car survived.
His name:
Cory ChapmanWhoah!
That hit a little too close to home for me.
Here's the official article:
http://www.kcrg.com/news/local/48022182.html#idc-ctoolsImmediately, people started speculating in the Comments section why this guy had driven down the wrong side of the I-380 interstate.
I wrote:
"
The only possible explanations for him going the wrong way on the interstate are:
1.) Mental impairment, (he got hit on the head or something and lost touch with reality)
2.) Drunkenness
3.) Suicide.
Yes, we hate that this happened to him. At the same time, we're free to speculate. It isn't everyday that someone drives down the wrong side of I-380.
It is my opinion that if no substances such as alcohol or drugs are found in his system, he either suffered a mental impairment or he purposely ran his motorcycle into an oncoming car.
We'll just have to wait and see."
What do you think?
Weird, huh?
I don't expect a lot of responses.
Just thought this was a good example of how life can throw you a curveball every now and then.
