Saw BLADE 2 earlier today and, despite a few minor annoyances in the story, thought it was the kind of no bulls**t, kick ass action movie I've been waiting for! And this is coming from someone who didn't even like the first one. It was funny seeing the trailer for XXX before the film because BLADE 2 reminded me of why it is that I'm so sick of seeing Mountain Dew ads masquerading as action films. But that's a whole other rant...
As for the title of this post, honestly, was I the only one who thought the Reapers were really jacked-up, bad ass CHUDs? The design of the Reapers was absolutely awesome, but for some reason I kept thinking, "these are what the CHUDs should have been like!" Hmmm....maybe it was because all the Reapers were dressed like homeless people and a signifigant portion of the film took place in the sewer. Maybe I just got CHUD on the brain. :)
