Don't watch it!!!  IT BLOWS!

Though if you really want to watch something pretty awful, why not Octopus 2?  Very similiar to Jaws in some sense and it also happens to take place during the 4th of July.

just watched : just before dawn , sleepaway camp, and i found oddballs and a slew others u suggested

I'm not certain I would attribute a beach or summer theme (the criteria requested by the OP) to many of these films.
