I think imdb pop ups must be timed. I only get them at certain times of day.

If your day gets any slower, check your pulse, man.

I think my post just goes to show how dull today has been.

When imdb pop ups become intrestin, well,  maybe it's time I got a life!

It's Independence Day, and I'm doing this.

Not too bad earlier.
Nice & warm, not hot.

Got a new battery for my moped the other day, & put it in today & tried it out.

For some reason, I can never get the mixture right. I was getting it too thin, & it wasn't getting enough power. Now I'm getting it too rich, & it chokes out when I accelerate.

Well I was adopted by a dog. My kid and I went walking other day and had a dog follow us home. I told my kid not to feed it or pet it in hopes that it would go home. The next day the dog was still here and had gone almost a full day without water and who knows how long without food. Well my wife felt sorry for it by then so she fed it and gave it some water. I told her as soon as she did it that we might as well keep the dog since no one claimed it dispite asking around about it.
We named the dog Sooner, which is a local joke meaning the sooner they leave the better. Granted we have no plans to get rid of the dog now. Sadly however it appears the dog was abused then abandoned in the woods to die. The dog has several burn scars and some scars about her head where it looks as if she had some sort of blunt force trauma. It is rather friendly but does flinch and cower when you move a certain way around it.
As far as what breed it is, it's a mutt. I have no clue exactly what breeds it's a mixture of. The way it looks is a mixture of butt and ugly. However I suspect it has some hound, Doberman, and German Shepard in it. But those are just a guess. I just know based on the size and the fact it's obvious it's still really a pup, it's going to be a big dog.
I can also say that it is friendly and hyper. The dog runs around like a kid jacked up on sugar. It reminds me a lot of the dog in Marley and Me in it's behavior.

Today I get to do some touch-up painting on the wife's car, she drove over some concrete thing and scraped the paint off the plastic under the bumper.  Then I'll vacuum the house, and maybe bring the PS3 upstairs and hook it up to the internet, load some CD's in it (has to be hooked up to the net or it doesn't know the name of the albums or songs).  Maybe I'll download some more game demo's.  And I need to organize the laundry room, it's getting so piled high with crap you can barely walk in there any more.  Then I shall drink some beer  TeddyR

Give that dog some time and some positive attention and that dog will kill to protect you.  Found dogs can be the most incredible pets if you treat them right.  We always called them road-tested because we lived outside of a small town on a state highway and if a dog wandered up and stayed alive, it was smart enough to not get run over and it knew how to survive no matter what. After we fed them for a while, they were the best watch dogs and would point out snakes if we were outside.  A bit of kindness reaps a lifetime of intense loyalty.

Wow, my friend, sorry to hear that.  It sounds like forums updating are the least of your problems, but I'm sure it would be nice to find something to take your mind off things.  Courage to you.

Yeh, I know the former complaint does sound lightweight in spite of the others, but that's the slow part as opposed to the sad part... Plus, as you said it is good to have something to take my mind off it, feel like punching myself in the face when daddy gets real bad >.> ... There actually seems to be an OK chance he'll get better (If he decides to cooperate more to find out what's even happening...), but he looks about 5 steps up from "holocaust survivor" at the moment...
