I've just discovered this movie and I find it very interesting.  An entire movie set to a band's album.  No real dialogue, just the entire soundtrack playing.  It suppose to be th merging of science fiction with the entertainment industry.  The rest is a bit hard to explain without actually seeing the movie itself.  I'm pretty curious about watching this on and I was wondering if any of you guys have seen it and would like to give their opinion of it.

"Merging of science fiction with the entertainment industry???"  It sounds like it's just a feature length music video.  They already did that with rock operas like JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, TOMMY and PINK FLOYD: THE WALL, but those had plots, so maybe that's the difference?

Actually, the movie does have a plot, but I have to watch the movie first to fully understand it.

Here's the opening with the first song to get an idea of it (Go to 1:10 to start the movie):

I'll buy or rent the movie to get the full experience instead of watching it on YouTube.

I have this on DVD and it's good if you like Daft Punk's music.  It really is just a giant music video with a plot.  Very old-school Anime type animation.  I enjoyed it, but it wasn't anything fancy; I would've like to have dialogue [of which there is none] but it was fun all the same.

I'd give it a 2.5/5 - not great but watchable, especially for Daft Punk fans [if you're not then maybe give this one a miss].

On a side note, speaking of Daft Punk, has anyone seen Electroma?

Its a surreal, wierd film that seems more like film art than a film itself.  It has ambient noise, no real dialogue and is basically about two robots [the Daft Punk boys] who want to become human.

It's also really interesting because you can actually play and loop their album 'Human After All' whilst playing this movie and it all syncs up.  Smart little cookies.  Oddball film certainly.
