Jordan Chandler Admits He Lied about Being Molested by Michael Jackson
Jordan Chandler has admitted that he lied when he accused Michael Jackson of sexually molesting him in 1993.

The news has been reported by the BGNES news agency which cites an interview with Chandler in an American news website.

Chandler is quoted as saying that back in 1993, when he was 13, he was forced to lie by his father. Chandler's accusations caused a scandal that stained irreparably the reputation of the King of Pop, who died last Thursday.

The child molestation case against Jacko ended after the singer agreed to pay Jordan Chandler's family USD 22 M...

I usually avoid commenting about news stories, however, this one has already been buried.  I don't know if the accuser lying is a true story, but if it is, it's one hell of a story.  JACKSON offered what seemed a lame explanation for his settlement with CHANDLER in his well known DIANE SAWYER interview, though now one can see where the man-child JACKSON could have taken poor advice from his many hangerson in order to make the allegation go away.  It is worth noting that at the trial in 2005, the second accuser's mother, a known extortionist, was laughed at repeatedly for her bizarre and implausible testimony by many persons present in the courtroom.

The same persons who believe the molestation allegations against MICHAEL are often the same who criticize the hideous and ridiculous media which has become a monster of our time.  Why haven't we heard more about this?  Maybe because the same damned media that had made a pariah of JACKSON is once again reluctant to expose their own expedient motivations.

This story is huge if true. immensely huge.

It would truly say something about our society if Michael Jackson was simply a guy who went out of his way to help children with no cruel intentions.

It's what I believe.

I can't find the original source of these quotes.  Where does this come from?  Where did he say this?  Apparently, it was an interview on a website...  Which website?  It seems to have originated from trashselector.com.  How did they get ahold of Jordan Chandler?  Did he call them?  What?

There doesn't appear to be a reputable source for this.  Sorry to be the skeptic here, but I need more confirmation than this runaround internet stuff.

Jackson's obsession with teenage boys was unhealthy, but we don't really know that it was sexual.  If this story pans out, it's a huge blow to those who believe he was guilty.

I guess the thing that kind of convicted him in my mind was that when they searched Neverland, they found some pornographic material - gay and straight - in the bedroom where he slept beside 12 year olds.  If his bed was "not about sex," as he adamantly claimed, why was that stuff there?

I am more ambivalent about Jackson than I was - I will not say with certainty that he was or was not an incipient pedophile - but one thing I do know.

The dude was very, very strange, and I feel a certain amount of pity for him.

Thanks for posting this, AH.

My comments included the remark: I don't know if the accuser lying is a true story, but if it is, it's one hell of a story.   I could not find a creditable source for this story either; however, I have to admit I found the link to the first website thru Wikipedia, for what that's worth.  Without news coverage from a known source, I'm doubting this story.

I don't believe that he molested anybody.  Think about this if you will.  If someone molested your child, would the first thing you thought about be how much money you could get out of the molester, or how you were going to kill the SOB?

Michael Jackson had a seriously screwed up childhood and I think that his obsession with boys was just his way of trying to capture something he never had.

As far as weirdness, he's not much different than Elvis was.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Would you let your children spend the night with Micheal Jackson in his bed?

If you say yes I seriously question your ability to parent.

I don't think that MJ had actually gotten to the point where he had actually molested children. But I won't lie and say that I had never thought that the potemtial was there for something like that to occur at some point down the line.  The fact is that we'll never know for sure if he did or not.  I just try   to remember growing up in the 80's when Thriller and MJ ruled the world and thinking at that time that he was one of the coolest people ever. The man did make some brilliant music!  That's the MJ that I prefer to think about since his death.

For that matter, would you let children sleep in the same bed with any celebrity?  I wouldn't.  I think it's more of a point that we don't know these people, really.

Hey, that depends.  If Naomi Watts invited my 17 year old son for a sleepover, I'd tell him to haul ass over to her house ASAP.

A friend of mine had a yard sale. A lady of about 28 or so years of age came there with her young children. The youngest was old enough to walk, but not talk. The family went to leave and the woman came back asking for a band-aid, apparently the youngest had cut her foot. I saw it, it was a pretty nasty cut. A few weeks later, my friend was contacted by a lawyer, she was being sued because this happened in her yard.

A bit of research taught her that every one of her 5 children had gotten hurt, all a cut on the bottom of the foot, all led to out of court settlements and such. She cut those children's feet in order to get money, plain and simple, with quite a bit of evidence found in hindsight.

Some people will do anything for money.

Supposing you were falsely accused of molesting a child. Would you pay the people off, or would you fight it to clear your name and expose the fraud? If it was fraudulent, would a person really believe a payoff would fix everything and not just make you a bigger target for the same type of scams?

I see where you're coming from. However, you have to consider that we're dealing with Michael Jackson, a man with the emotions of a twelve year old. A twelve year old who's in major trouble isn't interested in fighting to clear his name, he just wants to get out of trouble as fast as possible, and he's going to trust in the adults in his life to make it go away. The adults, in this case, are his high powered lawyers, who, being what they are, arent really concerned with guilt or innnocence, and are only interested in Jackson as a valuable commodity. A lengthy trial, assuming the courts can locate the last 12 people on the face of the earth who have never heard of MJ and have no opinion about him one way or the other, could take a major toll on his career (and Jackson's behavior in front of people not used to his quirks would have a major negative impact on his case). That and a possible jail sentence would be too high a financial risk, personal issues notwithstanding. The lawyers will cover their own asses, and that of their client, by advising him just to throw money at the problem to make it go away. And MJ, being the eternal twelve year old, will do as he's told.
