I have a friend who has a cousin named Skye Blue.  Yes, the parents did that on purpose.

That reminds me... I went to middle school with a guy named Sandy Sands.  He had an older brother... Dusty.  Parents can be cruel, but to be fair, those guys could have chosen to go by their middle names (unless their parents named him "Sandy Grainsof Sands", or something...)

Sandy for a guy is usually short for Alexander.

Another last name I find creepy is "Beard".
Especially when it's a woman's last name.
I picture her with a giant bushy black beard.  (the bearded lady!)
