A French film with quite the 'active' beast.

I could have sworn I once heard of a French movie, possibly from the 80's and up. It may have taken place during the Reinassance or Medievil years. A castle pretty much tossed women out to satisfy a monster that was outside. I believe the beast, or bete, did something sexually to the women before killing them.

Yeah my curiosity is fueld by perversion but I think I even saw a picture of monster which was black furred and pointy eared.

Like the review says, it's really not that interesting once the initial amusement at the premise wears off.  You've probably already imagined a better and more interesting movie just from looking at those pictures.
