I have vague memories of playing a game years back that was on display at a Toys R Us, but I can't recall the title.  Maybe someone can help me...

Okay, here's what I remember, the game was old, guessing Playstation One or Sega Saturn.  It had bright, cartoony graphics (reminded me of something like Mad Magazine style cartoons.)  You switch between controlling three guys (or, I assume three players could play at once, controlling each guy.)

Now, this part gets weird, but bare with me... each guy had a unique weapon to fight with.  One guy carried a shotgun that he would reload after each shot, sending a discarded cartridge flying into the air.  Another guy had a baseball, but, instead of doing the logically thing like stuff directly with it, each time you use it the guy would pause and three baseballs would come magically flying up a large backpack he was wearing.  If you timed your hits just right, you'd hit the balls with the bat and send them into your opponent.

Can't recall off hand what the third was using.

The stage I was playing these guys were inexplicably acting a building.  Yes, a building.  It was some kind of gym, and while you ran around outside fighting the building, hands would appear tossing bar bells at you from the windows.  At one point, if you damaged the building enough, it would break out of it's foundation and "walk" (you'd seeing several dozen feet underneath) after you, similar to a cartoon where you have some guy hiding behind a bush.

Anyway, I have NO idea why these guy are attacking a gym, or what the game's back story is.  The game seemed pretty neat, except I remember the characters you controlled moved a bit sluggishly.  Everytime you'd use their weapons, they paused for a second or two and you'd be unable to move them, which meant you had to time your shots pretty well.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I'd like to help, but it doesn't sound familiar at all.

Did some checking on another board, and someone filled me in.  The game is called Three Dirty Dwarfs for the Sega Saturn.  (Oh, and the third guy's weapon was a bowling ball.)

:)

Wow.  That certainly is an unusual looking game.
I'd never heard of it until now.
