The Pitts.

A show about a family with the worst luck on Earth.  Possessions, demons, werewolves, vampires, imps, trolls, aliens and everything else got hurled at these folks.  Brainless fun that was killed about three episodes in.

The lady who played the mom died shortly after the series was shot.  A shame because she was a plucky actress and quite fetching in a mousy way.

The clip won't show here, but this is the link to the opening titles.

I remember that show.  It wasn't too bad from what I saw, but they never really aired many episodes.

I saw the japanese (i think) version of that show and it was way funnier.  Probably because I didn't understand what they were saying and there was a lot more yelling.

Anyone remember "Cop Rock"?  It was a tv series that wove Broadway style musical numbers into a police drama stories.   Weird concept - short lived series.

I was JUST about to mention Cop Rock!  Strange-@$$ show!

If anime tv-series could count, Excel Saga is WAY weird...

Maniac Mansion was pretty weird.. based of course on a weird cpu game (and later, NES game).

Yeah, I was disappointed when "Cop Rock" was canceled.  The pilot was one of the funniest things I ever saw!

Canada has produced its share of Weird TV, that's for sure:

The Odyssey (1990s) (bizarre beyond belief for a kids show)

Lexx (ultra bizarre)
