Hello, I was thinking about this today, can you come up with some? I have a few ...

Movie monsters or people that never battled each other on film.

Also, please explain why you think "monster a" could defeat "monster b" or vice-versa.

BTW - You can use SETS in the VS if you want, let me give you an example.
Ash Williams (Evil Dead) in "The Haunted Palace" (w/ Vincent Price). Think Ash could survive the Palace? Explain why. OK, really bad example lol ... but I think you know what I mean.

MechaGodzilla 1974 VS MechaKong. Hands down MechaGodzilla could easily defeat MechaKong. Think about it, Godzilla always needed help destroying the 2 1970's MechaGodzillas. I'm almost sure MechaGodzilla would win that battle. What do you think?

Godzilla 1960's VS Gamera 1960's. This is a hard one, In Gamera vs. Guiron I remember Guiron almost killed Gamera. Hmm well we all know Godzilla is much more deadlier then Guiron. But then again Gamera did defeat some baddies in his time ... Hmm, I still think Godzilla would win this battle though. What do you think?

Here are some for you to play around with ...

Rodan VS Megaguirus

Hedora aka Smog Monster VS Ultraman

Destroyah ultimate form VS Monster Zero

Baragon VS Guiron

Ghost Busters VS The House on Haunted Hill 1999 (SET) ... Think about that, WOW!

OK, I got a great one for Ash (Evil Dead) now. Ash VS House of 1000 Corpses (SET). Now keep in mind all the crazy monsters or what ever they were are included in that SET.

I'm sure others would love to hear your opinions. Have fun.

Rodan VS Megaguirus

Megaguirus, he just has more power and Rodan has no "big weapon" to back him up. He could score a few htis but overall I think Megaguirus could easily withstand.

Baragon VS Guiron

Guiron, he deflects Baragon's ray the same way he did with Space Gaos's, then proceeds to cut him up good.

How about:

Neon Maniacs vs. C.H.U.D.

I think your right ... Guiron could just deflect Baragon's attack.

IMO, Neon Maniacs would win.

How about -

Space Gaos VS Rodan. (thats a fair fight)

Godzilla VS Gamera isn't really fair since Godzilla is MUCH bigger in most of his incarnations.  Like, 4 or 5 times the weight, twice the height.

If they were the same rough size...  I'd still bet on Godzilla.

How about...

Bub
VS

Big Daddy

Gaos.  He has the sonic slicer ray.

Quote
MechaGodzilla vs. MechaniKong

MechaGodzilla, no contest.  MechaGodzilla has waaaaaaaaay too much firepower.

How about --

The Milpitas Monster vs. The Mighty Gorga

Not just because MechaGodzilla 70's is my favorite monster, I really cant think of a Toho monster that could be him 1 VS 1. Even Godzilla could never get it done just 1 on 1 IMO.  Twirling

Can the Milpitas Monster fly? I see wings ... but I never seen the movie.

How about ... Gamera VS Kameba (YOG)

Bub VS Big Daddy, hmm ... Zombies, well both can use guns. I think a tie.

As far as MechaGodzilla and MechaKong-Mecha Godzilla fer sure! As you sed-Godzilla needed King Seesar and others to defeat MechaGodzilla-but Kong alone beat MechaKong.

They've both got their strong suits - Sawyer family has the vast technological advantage plus something of a strategic advantage, but Jupiter's clan is much more savage and instinctive...

I think once if got down to it Chop Top or Hitchhiker could hold their own against Mars and Pluto for a long enough time for Leatherface to finish Jupiter, and then be able to get Jupe's clan off his brothers' backs. Still, that is mostly provided Jupiter wouldn't overpower Leather... And who knows what would happen if they killed grampa! Buggedout

Macgyver in the 1st SAW movie ... would he bleed? die? chop off a limb? ...

... or is that SET way too easy for Macgyver to escape? Wink

(not really a "B movie monster" but still fun to think about)

I'd say McGyver is resourceful enough to find a way out. Plus, he gets to bend reality with his solutions. MacGyver's record speaks for itself.

Jigsaw's traps, while ingenious, are beatable by design, and bound by physical laws in ways that MacGyver's contraptions are not.

Plus, MacGyver is living life to the fullest, and not the sort of person Jigsaw would grab in the first place.\\

I put way to much thought into that.

Jason beats Kitadan, I think.  Unless he was in a sleeping bag.  If Kitadan caught him while he was taking his afternoon nap, all bets are off.

I'd put the Thing (1982) over the Blob (1988).  Both are protean eating machines, but the Thing can evolve defenses against the Blob.

How about THE GIANT CLAW versus RODAN?

I think Rodan could beat The Giant Claw.

How about They Live (aliens) VS V (aliens) ... Battle for Earth.

The V aliens in a cakewalk. They Live aliens were mostly a bunch of rich douchebags who had no real power once their presence was revealed, and I assume the V aliens would be wise to their mind control from the beginning. The V aliens, on the other hand, used deception to gain cooperation, but brought along enough military hardware to maintain control.
