Bug Bite BONANZA!!

On the forth O' July, apparently i got a misquito bite. No big deal, right? I had ka-BILLIONS o' those. So i scratched it. Whatever. No big deal. Life goes on, right?

Turns out, some nasteh bacteria got in there from me a' scratchin' it and well, long story short, I got a staff infection.
Yea. It SUCKED. so after a period of limping around with my arm looking all mangeled (because the bite was right under my arm and it hurt to put my arm down) I went to a doctor who with ONE LOOK at the bite says "You need to go to the hospital. NOW." Apparently I could have been dead inna week or 2. Aint that nutty?

Sorry to hear about the infection, and very happy to hear you went to the doctor and headed off an untimely and embarrassing death.  But frankly, I'm glad the pic's not showing up.  Other people's infections aren't that fun for me to look at.

Man, it sounds like we need to disinfect the board. After reading KYGOTC's post, that makes two of us who have a nasty bacterial infection. Hope it's not the MRSA strain of it you got or you will love the new accessories like the ones I got from my hospital stay. I hope you get better soon and don't have to take IV antibiotic at home cause that is not fun. Having to do that now myself. Also don't drop over dead on us or loose an arm.
In the mean time, the rest of you might want to wash your hands after posting behind KYGOTC and myself. Also have Andrew wash the board down in a bleach solution.
