Bad news for us, but maybe good news for the people who live in Greenland. Which just voted to become independent from Denmark, who up to this time had control over Greenland. People think there may be alot of valuable minerals up in the central part of Greenland, which were inaccessible with all the ice up. But with the ice melting, people now think what ever minerals may be there, may be more accessible. Of course, what all that mineral extraction will do to Greenland's enviroment, is anybody's guess.
