He play Cholla in Every Which Way But Loose, had roles in High Plains Drifter and Outlaw Josey Wales.
Passed away on August 9th from what I've been able to gather, but not sure of the cause.
I know one of the family members and my thoughts go out to her and the rest of his family. He was apparently a great family man. I was looking forward to meeting him as they were moving to Topeka in September.
We all grew up seeing these people playing characters in the movies we watched. They weren't the stars, but without them, the stars would have been lost. They make movies what they are, to me at least.
