Has anyone ever been?

I might be going to the Horrorfind Weekend convention in Hunt Valley, Maryland. http://www.horrorfindweekend.com/  Has anyone ever attended this or any other horror convention(s)?  If so, what is it like?  Does anybody have any tips on how to get the most out of it?  I don't have to worry about lodging or food. Thanks in advance!

Hey, I've never been to any conventions myself (that's for people with money who live in places where stuff actually happens), but I'm told one handy tip is that instead of standing in line for hours and waiting for the celebs at their table, more often than not you can talk to them more easily when they head over to the bar later in the evening.  :)
