Howdy folks, I've got two movies that I watched at least 15 years ago on USA that I can't remember for the life of me.

1.  It was an 80's/ early 90's office slasher with a supernatural twist. I only remember two scenes. The final girl and some guy (I think he was a nerd with slicked-back hair a la Crispin Glover) are staring at each other, laughing it up after having just survived the killer. Then, elevator doors open behind the guy and he takes an axe to the back. I don't remember what the killer looked like, nor how the woman defeats the killer. The final scene of the movie is her and the nerd in a hospital room. For some reason an axe to the back results in the nerd wearing a bandage on his head. As he lays in the hospital bed, both of them stare at each other and laugh it up. Camera cuts to outside the room where a guard sits. We see the back of a figure as he/she walks into the room. As the door closes we hear the two inside scream, the guard bolts inside and we hear gunshots and more screams, roll credits.

2. This one was a double feature with Spookies on Up All Night back when Gilbert Godfrey was still around. It was another 80's/early 90's horror film. I think it was trying to cash in on Vampire's Kiss because the main protagonist was able to keep his girlfriend/vampiress from killing him by shoving a cockroach in her mouth. I don't know if the roach did it or if he killed the master but I think she turns back to normal at the end. The final scene of the movie showed a glass coffin propped up against the wall with the skeleton of the lead vampire inside with a stake through his heart. Camera focuses on the skeleton and the stake just falls out and we cut to credits. IMDB lists del Toro's Cronos as containing both cockroaches and vampires. Anyone seen that?

Anyone who can answer either of these movies is a badass.

Nightlife satisfies the bug scene exactly and the cure loosely.  The main character is a female vampire who was buried alive in a coffin.  She developed a phobia of bugs because of all the ones that crawled on her when she was buried.  Her human boyfriend shoves a bug in her mouth at one point to stop her from eating him.  He also figures out that he can satisfy her craving for blood by mixing whole blood with epinephrine and injecting it into her.
