I AM THE BAD PHOTOSHOP EFFECT!

« on: August 14, 2009, 09:24:25 PM »

I just posted on the Childhood favorites thread on another board, and now I'm trying to remember this one animated movie I remember seeing.

It's not Twice Upon a Time but if I'm remembering correctly its has visual simalr style.

The first sequence I remember has the hero and his pet/sidekick walking through what look liked giant pistons who are sining.  The song goes  "We are driving, We are Driving, We're the hammers, We're the hammers" and that just repeats itself over and over again.

The other sequence is is the villian and his henchmen on a distant planet.  They keep looking up at the stars and get hypotized.  The song they sing has the refrain "Heaven" (a single word repeated several times.

I remember seeing it once and only once.  I searched for it on youtube a couple times but since I don't know what it was called I couldn't really find it.

hey, maybe you should try browsing through this lists of animated feature films.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_animated_feature_films

There was an old late 80s animated film that I've been looking for years and also had little info to work with but I've finally found it today.  Smile
So maybe you'll have the same luck.

cheers

I found it thanks to that list.  It's Abra Cadabra from 1983.  You can move this to the Solved board.
