We always try to be both positive and open minded and yet, there are songs that we simply dislike.  try and show some VARIETY here.  we know the band of the week on MTV stinks, let's getinto a deeper kind of torture

Can we post any video we don't like? ... or just music videos we don't like?

I don't like - Chacarron Macarron. Thumbdown

Why? because it reminds me of the Batman on drugs vid. (don't ask lol)

2nd - I'm jealous, imo nobody deserves to get paid after that!

There are certain songs that could be okay but go on way way too long.

Do you really want to hurt me by culture club

 hungy like the wolf by duran duran , they repeat the chorus like 5000 times at the end.  both songs feel about 10 minutes long

Pretty much anything by Pantera. I can't begin to describe how much I dislike these guys. In my opinion, they are the fathers of so-called "mallcore". From their derivative sound, to Phil Anselmo's laughable "tough guy" lyrics, they unfortunately became one of the biggest metal bands of the 90s. I have a friend who loves them, but hates Metallica, which to me is ludicrous. There wouldn't be a Pantera as we know it if it wasn't for Metallica.

I hate anthems and big ballads in general.  The big, big songs people break out at weddings or at bars on a Friday night that everyone drunkingly sings a long with.  Which ones you ask, how about;

You Shook Me All Night Long - ACDC
Livin' On A Prayer - Bon Jovi
Hotel California - The Eagles
Celebrate - Kool And The Gang
Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond (I'm from the northeast)

So on and so forth...

darksider-  I see alot of sort of hipster stuff glamorizing, no pun intended, the hair band stuff of the 80's.  I don't doubt there were some talented bands in that genre, but the only stuff they played on MTV were the power ballads.  they were all exactly the same except maybe "wanted dead or alive" by bon jovi which had a cowboy sort of theme.

and then they would play them on headbangers ball like they were hard rock!!  wrong!

Anything by Lady GaGa, Amy Winehouse, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson. I don't know where they came from and why they are here. I just wish they would go away. I used to hate James Blunt as well but it looks like he ain't coming back. Thank god. That said, my most hated song/video ever is this:

Totally with you there.  The thing is I like other songs by some of the artists (ACDC and Bon Jovi) but they had much better songs that didn't get played nearly as much as the ones they pump out.  Probably good though because I'd hate those songs if they did.

Some more examples for me;
Kiss - I wanna rock n roll all night
Kiss - Shout it out loud

KISS had a lot of great songs but these are the ones that everyone knows and frankly its some of their worst material IMHO.
