The original Bioshock.  GREAT GAME. Picked it up for around 10 bucks at Gamestop during a sale a while back. The same day I went home with Darksiders-Wrath Of War. Good story on that one too.

I have been playing Borderlands on the PS3 rather religiously after having a...well, emotional breakdown after 5 months of mostly non-stop Modern Warfare 2 multi-player. You know it's time to stop playing a game when you start crying because of all the people getting killed in a game, but you keep killing them.

Yup, medications can be useful at times like that, but putting the game on the shelf works even better.

But I love Borderlands weapon-generation system that can allow for up to 17,000,000 variations. And getting a sniper rifle with 2.4 zoom and a base damage of 364 points with 200% critical damage modifiers...it warms the heart to see some poor soul basically explode when you land a solid head shot.

And, yes, I understand the conflicting information in this post. But Borderlands doesn't even try to appear realistic. And it's all monsters and bad guys, so...they deserve to have me shoot them. There, I said it.

NBA Jam---Boomshakalaka! Great game.  Glad they did a newer one for the Wii...which is what I've been playing.

Sweet, love Borderlands though on the XBOX 360, now.  I used to be on the PS3.  Sold it though can't remember why.  Think it was for some disk trouble and they didn't have a replacement.  Anyway, never did the download content and am starting in on them with the 360 version.  I was rather overwhelmed by the fact you can't bring  a low level character into the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned.  It also has its own twisted sense of humor.  The archaeologist chick being at the top of my list or some of the claptraps ("I just pooped in the spot you're standing on.")

Call of Duty from Treyarch, Zombies the crack cocaine of video games.  Have you tried the old text adventure Zork yet?  I used to enjoy them back in the day though I dislike the interface that seems like you are a person playing a person playing Zork.

Boderlands is still on my '360's hard drive, but I gave it up because it took too long.  I may get a copy of it when it goes down a bit more in price.  It was a very good looking game and one with a load of action to it.

Right now I recently finished Risen and what a P.O.S. that was. Graphic crashes just before the end fight with the Fire Titan, and load times and what-have-you from the old days of graphics.  No excuse for a game like this on a system like the '360 or PS3.
It had the potential to rank right up there with Oblivion.

Thank God I rented Risen thru Gamefly and that I didn't BUY it!
