^nice fight scene. dvd has subs
If they could cut an hour off this it could be a 5 star classic. As it stands it's awfully long at about 3 hours and it's a bit of an endurence test. I know all Bollywood movies are long but they don't pace this was all that well which is really too bad because in places it's incredible. The two leads are great, especially the girl who is absolutely beautiful and both are quite charismatic. An ambitous reporter falls for the gangster she is covering and all manners of deception, revenge and insanity occur. It's colorful but also sort of crazy sometimes like what the heck is this (see above).
It's pretty sleazy for an Indian movie, meaning it's ALMOST pg 13! The infrequent songs are good if not amazing. comedy, romance, action, plenty of time for all of it. Only wish it had been more concise. Fans of straight to video action or Italian james bond rip offs from the 60's will find alot to like or that's what it reminded me of anyway. and Tarantino a little bit actually in the "B movie with big budget and real actors" sort of way.
