I feel silly about it, but under Modify Profile all I see are Account Related Settings. Maybe reading the faqs and stuff closer would help. I don't understand the difference between members and profile owners. I just want an avatar, man. Geez.
Oh and hi glad to be here anyhow, sup ma nizzles.

Welcome aboard.  Like quite a few forums, we have had problems with spammers creating accounts merely to inject profile spam, or make spam posts.  New visitors cannot edit their profile information.  However, I could certainly add an avatar pic.  Just post a link to it here, or email to to me at andrew (at) badmovies.org and I'll add it for you.

Well, I tried to private message you, but it keeps telling me my verification codes are typed in wrong. I tried a bazillion times.
So I'm about to break a rule here. I'm not allowed to post links in threads, but... well here we are. I chopped the http thing off so it'd post. Just this once, I swear.

Anyway, thanks a lot. I really think I'mma like it here.

Eh, the reason for new visitors not posting links isn't a draconian rule - it's just there to discourage and deny spammers the ability.  Sorry that it caused you an issue.  Your avatar should be loaded now.

It's 11.  I tend not to say, to discourage spammers.  However, I think that me not saying is too detrimental to honest posters compared to slowing down or discouraging the spammers.

I can dig that man, spammers have a tendency to ruin forums if not kept in check.

Everythings working on mine now, which is cool, and I shall continue to post on here, now with added pictures!
