The reader who wrote the latest guest review for "Blue Eyes of the Broken Doll," Russell Shiley, also sent in a review for "Fork Lift Driver Klaus" - which is an unbelievable fork lift safety film.  It runs about 9 minutes.

My favorite part is the forklift trundling off into the sunset, with two screaming workers impaled on the forks, and headless Klaus driving.

I've seen this short several times used as late night 'Filler' on Channel 4. It is pretty entertaining with the very cheesy gore effects set against that ludicrously chirpy soundtrack. I was actually violently sick shortly after my first viewing of this film although that was probably more to do with a microwavable pepperoni pizza that I had eaten a few hours before.  TeddyR

I think more people would pay attention to safety if they were. And ROFL. I loved the guy cut in half at the waist rubbing the sweat from his brow when he saw the forklift driven by headless Klaus was going to miss him.

Oddly, I know a woman who's husband was run over by a fork lift.  He was out of work for a better part of a year and had to go to rehab for an extended stay.  IOW, this video is fairly accurate.

Being surprised by this in the middle of the night, after a liberal application of whiskey, would be awesome.  Reminds me of encountering "Greaser's Palace" late one night while Steve and I were getting snookered.

"What the heck is this?"
"I don't know, but it's weird."

While working at my first job in a lumberyard my future brother-in-law ran over my left foot with a forklift. After being taken care of at the local hospital he drove me home, helped me to the front door (I was on crutches) then knocked on the door politely. My dad answered the door, saw me on crutches with a mile or so of ace bandage around my left leg and foot and then we had the following conversation.
Dad "What happened to you?"
Me   "Well I was at work and......"
Future brother-in-law "I'm real sorry Ed but I accidentally ran him over with a forklift, it's not his fault."
Dad  "You two dummies."
He then playfully slapped my future brother-in-law on the side of his head and knocked him down.
A good time was had by all however when dad broke out the beer.

I remember seeing that safety forklift video many years ago. I've forgotten all about it & boy it was nice to see it again.   BounceGiggle

Seriously movies like KILLDOZER, THE LIFT/THE SHAFT, TRUCKS & Stephen King's classic - MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE get made but a movie about possessed killer forklifts can't?

There's something wrong here.   Wink

I demand a killer forklift movie get made now!!  TeddyR

if you watch the scene with the two workers on the forklift turning to avoid the half man, you can see Klause's hand steer the forklift!  TeddyR
