I have been a bit of a downer when reporting on my health as of late but finally I have good news. I am not going to loose my leg or have the knee joint fused. I went to see the orthopedic surgeon today and he was amazed by how well it had healed up. Apparently he was expecting to schedule surgery for me and was glad to see he didn't have to do so. So looks like I beat Staph MRCA. I hope to never have to deal with it again. Now just got to wait until Thursday when I see the infectious disease specialist to have him remove the PICC line. I hate that thing and will be glad to get it out of me.
