Anchor Bay's Day of the Dead DVD wouldn't play in my player, and now their Tomb of the Blind Dead DVD won't, either.

I don't have problems with any other DVD's, just Anchor Bay.

Are you using a DVD player, your PC's DVD drive, or something else?

Check out the disc, does it appear to have any "coffee" like stains around the disc? Does the center edge of the disc look like it's rotting? Welcome to Anchor Bay s**t discs - they stop working after awhile. I had problems with "The Wicker Man", "Heathers" and most recently Fulci's "Four of The Apocalypse". Anchor Bay will replace the disc, but I believe that the Day of The Dead disc is not in print anymore....send anchor bay a email, see what they will do.

that's odd, maybe there's something wrong with your dvd-player. anchor bay's dvd's are all region free.

I've bought 3-CDs from Anchor Bay, two of them didn't work.

One, Day of the Dead, had obvious manufacturing flaws.  I traded it for a different copy, it had the same flaws.

Tomb of the Blind Dead has no obvious flaws, save the circumference of the disc being kind of rough-hewn, and it doesn't work.  It won't even start up.  It has some black spots on the outer edge.

My DVD player will supposedly play discs with any region coding.

Whether the disc or my player, Anchor Bay isn't getting my business anymore.
