Hi there Andrew and everyone on this great website i have just found. I hope to post new threads & answer questions as i get used to the site, but i would like to post this question of a B-movie (i think) i saw back in the late 80's. It was made in Black and white & was showing around the time of plan 9 from outer space so it could be of this time but probably a bit later. All i know about this little weird film is that A man played 2 parts ( male & female ) or it could of possibly have been a woman playing the parts of the (female/male). It was odd because as a man he wore a white suit with jet black slicked back short hair & talked in a submissive style. Then as a woman wearing a long figure hugging dress, with long dark hair, very much of the adams family/vampira syle, quite sexy and aluring but scary. My mother also remembers this film but we can't put anythiing to it. I don't think it was "Glen or glenda", the Ed wood film about his tranvestite obsession, but i can't fully say i'm sure as i have only seen clips , and none of the affore mentioned scenes of this actor/actress are in them. It could of been played for laughs but it had a sadistic side as well. Any info would be most helpful, and i look forward to being on this site again soon, Many thanks for reading this - Simon.

Can you remember any more parts about the movie?  What time period was it set in?  What was the general plot?

One that jumps to mind, just based on crossdressing and the mention of it being a bit sadistic, is Ed Wood's "The Sinister Urge" (1960).

Also, here is the IMDb listing for Ed Wood.  Perhaps something on it might help:

Hi andrew, many thanks for reading my entry on your website it's very much appreciated. I've checked out "The sinister urge" movie, but i don't think it's that. I don't think it had anything to do with porn or sex. I can't really give you a whole lot more, but i will try my best. It was'nt the type of B-Movie in the style of ed wood, it was more of a professional effort, just one of those films that was too different & quirky to get any real attention. However it was showed twice here in the UK in the late 80's & early 90's. I suppose it was in a style more like a Orson welles type movie. That sort of feeling, gritty, greasy and dark. Could of been shot from anywhere between 1950 to 1965,or even earlier, i really don't know. Also they aired these type of movies when a Show was on dedicating itself to weird B-movies called "Johnathon ross and his incredibly strange film show. Profiling directors such as ed wood , russ meyer, Hershell ? and other obscure filmakers. Finally i would say it was definately a person playing 2 parts (a man & a woman) & it was intiquing to say the least, love to see it again, but it's looking unlikely. Hey anyway thanks for getting in touch, & if there's anymore info you can give me i would be most grateful, Take care Andrew, i'll be posting more stuff very soon - Simon.

How about William Castle's HOMICIDAL?
