Did you burn your tongue on your coffee this morning? Did the printer at work jam? Did your dog puke on your couch? These are all reasons for you to act like a complete a***ole - and today you have a really good excuse - it's National Grouch Day!

The day was created by Sesame Street Magazine, which is now out of circulation - but National Grouch Day just seemed to stick. With the economy in the crapper, feel free to get your grouch on. Go ahead - snap at your boss or bite your buddy's head off. It's a fun way to let off some steam and it totally worked for Oscar.

I thought every day was national grouch day.. hm, anyway, go ahead and let it out. Today is the day you can and not feel ashamed.

Im grouchy because.. The kids were out of school Friday for teacher work day and then Monday for Columbus day and they get tomorrow off as well.. WTH! A four day weekend followed by a three day weekend! Great, I get to be a referee again. woo hoo.

Cool...

I'm not grouchy at the moment though.  Give me three hours.

I want to be Ripley when I grow up.

One day is in no way adequate.

I started to type out all the justifications I have for being grouchy today, and I realized how trivial they all are, so now I just can't do it.  It's a plot: stamping out grouchiness by giving it permission!  Man it's annoying when that happens.  TongueOut
